Terms of Service

1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Motor Central (the "Service"), operated by Reyna Love LLC, doing business as MCC Operations ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or sending a message through the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2 Description of the Service

Motor Central is a paid communication relay that helps family members and other approved contacts exchange messages with an incarcerated individual ("Resident") through the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons' electronic messaging system for incarcerated individuals. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons or its messaging provider.

The Service relays messages you send us — by email, SMS, or WhatsApp — to a Resident's facility messaging account, and relays a Resident's replies back to you through the same channel. Delivery depends on systems we do not control, including the availability of the facility's messaging system and facility-level restrictions.

3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You must have been approved as a contact by the Resident through the facility messaging system's own registration and identification-code process before messages you send will be relayed.

4 Account Registration & Contact Verification

To use the Service, a Resident must first invite you as a contact through the facility messaging system, which sends a verification email with an identification code to a proxy address we assign. Completing that verification is a required, manual step performed by our staff or by you — it is governed by that system's own terms, not ours, and can expire (currently within 10 days of the invitation) if not completed in time.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the contact information you provide (name, phone number, email address) and for keeping your login credentials, where applicable, confidential.

5 Plans, Billing & Payment

The Service is offered under subscription plans (currently Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C, billed monthly) with different message limits and features. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. We are not responsible for lockouts, suspensions, or restrictions placed on a Resident's messaging account by the facility, the messaging provider, or the Bureau of Prisons — these are outside our control and are not grounds for a refund. If a service disruption is directly attributable to Motor Central, our remedy is to extend service credit for the affected period; we do not issue cash refunds.

6 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to send content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, or that violates the messaging provider's, the facility's, or the Bureau of Prisons' rules for inmate correspondence. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, and the messaging provider or Bureau of Prisons staff independently reserve the right to reject or block any message regardless of anything we do.

7 Federal Monitoring Disclosure

All correspondence sent through the Service is subject to review by Bureau of Prisons staff under the facility's inmate correspondence program, exactly as if you had corresponded with the Resident directly through that system. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to this monitoring, independent of and in addition to any of our own data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

8 SMS, WhatsApp & Email Terms

How consent is obtained (opt-in script): before a Resident can add your phone number to the Service, the Resident must ask for your agreement directly (in person, by phone, or in writing) using this exact language:

Only after you agree does the Resident submit your number to the Service. If you were added without giving this agreement, reply STOP immediately to stop all messages, or contact us at the address in Section 15.

9 AI-Assisted Features

The Service offers optional commands ("STAR" and "COMET") that let a Resident request a direct AI-generated response (via OpenAI) or a web search summary (via Perplexity) instead of a message routed to a contact. Responses are generated automatically and are provided "as is" — we do not review AI-generated content for accuracy before it is delivered, and it may be incomplete or incorrect.

10 Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on third-party systems — the facility messaging system, Twilio, Resend, Stripe, and others — that we do not control, and on facility-level rules that can change without notice, including a Resident's messaging account being temporarily locked.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reyna Love LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including delayed, undelivered, or misdirected messages caused by the facility messaging system, carrier networks, or other third-party systems outside our control.

12 Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, for fraud, or at the request of the facility or the Bureau of Prisons.

13 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
